Saugerties Song

"The Saugerties Song" was written by John Hall, a member of the band "Orleans" in 1988. Being involved with Saugerties Concerned Citizens was an inspiration to write a song reflecting his feelings about the town he called home. The song was recorded with the help of Amy Frandon and a group of Saugerties school children from schools around the area. Proceeds from the sale of the tape were donated to various Saugerties charities such as, Saugerties Police Benevolent Association, the Saugerties Public Library, The Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy, Headstart Parents' Fund, and Saugerties Concerned Citizens.
