Vernon Benjamin

Vernon Benjamin passed away on June 6. He was a well-known historian who penned several important books about the history of the Hudson Valley.
A devoted community leader, he served on the Saugerties Public Library Board of Trustees from
2013 - 2018, supporting us for many years.
He will be truly missed.

Vernon wrote a two-part comprehensive history of the Hudson Valley, which earned rave reviews from The New York Times.
